Start Before You’re Ready

Start Before You’re Ready:

A Journey We’re Taking Together

There’s a lie most of us swallowed somewhere along the way. A subtle belief that whispers, “You’ll start when you’re ready.”

  • Ready with the perfect plan.

  • Ready with the perfect strategy.

  • Ready with the perfect confidence.

  • Ready with the perfect version of yourself.

But the truth? “Ready” is a myth we use to make ourselves feel safe.

Nobody starts ready. Nobody begins confident. Nobody steps into purpose without wrestling their own insecurities.

You start scared. You start shaky. You start unsure.

You start wishing you were better. You start as the harshest critic in the room.

And then you grow.

You learn. You fail forward. You get humbled, stretched, refined.

You glean from others who’ve walked ahead of you. You adjust. You get back up. You find your footing. You start again.

This is the real creative journey. Not the polished version social media shows you, but the honest one we all live through.

And guess what? I’m in this process too!

Still growing. Still learning. Still starting new things that scare me.

Still figuring out how to show up with purpose instead of perfection.

So let me ask you some questions the same ones I’m asking myself:

  • What would you build if “ready” wasn’t required?

  • What dream would you revisit if you weren’t paralyzed by the pressure to be perfect?

  • What first step could you take today even if it’s small, quiet, or messy?

  • Where have you been waiting for permission… when you already have the calling?

  • And who could you become if you stopped waiting and simply started?

These questions matter because the answers shape our lives more than we realize.

The things we want most… purpose, mastery, momentum, clarity.

They don’t show up before the work. They show up because of the work.

Courage isn’t the absence of uncertainty. Courage is choosing to move with uncertainty still in the room.

And starting imperfect is still starting.

I want to invite you into something I’m doing for the next couple of weeks. A real, personal, honest journey I’m walking out publicly.

For 14 days, I’m posting a series across my social platforms called “Start Before You’re Ready.”

It’s raw. It’s practical. It’s about growth, honesty, discipline, fear, creativity, and what it looks like to build your calling one imperfect step at a time.

Not hype. Not performance. Just real conversations about what it means to begin again.

If you’re in a season of:

• feeling stuck

• wrestling with self-doubt

• wanting to grow but not knowing where to start

• stepping into something new

• rebuilding after a setback

• or simply wanting to do life, business, and purpose with more courage

…then I’d love for you to follow along. Not to watch from the sidelines, but to walk with me.

To start something of your own.

To build something meaningful.

To grow in your craft.

To stretch your confidence.

To take that next step you’ve been delaying.

To choose progress over perfection.

We’re not meant to do this alone and this might be the push you needed.

If you want to join the journey, follow along online.

I’ll be sharing daily reels, thoughts, questions, and challenges to help you start… and start again… and keep starting when life gets messy.

Because the people who change the world aren’t the ones who waited until they were ready. They’re the ones who were willing to begin.

Let’s grow together.

Let’s build together.

Let’s start — even here, even now, even imperfectly.

See you online.

Day 1 drops Monday.
